What is the FAST AI Hub?

The FAST (Federated AI Services and Tools) AI Hub is NASA's enterprise-grade, FedRAMP Moderate compliant AI orchestration platform that provides unified access to Large Language Models while ensuring security, cost management, and operational efficiency for NASA's diverse missions and programs.

The AI Hub provides a secure, centralized platform for accessing and managing AI model usage, designed for both individual researchers and collaborative teams. It provides user authentication through Keycloak, organizes users into organizations, and enables controlled API key generation via LiteLLM. It includes built-in analytics for monitoring usage and budgets, enforces quotas and rate limits, and maintains a full audit trail for compliance.
